I do not support doctor-assisted suicide. I think Obamacare's original use of tax obligations/penalties as incentives for obtaining health insurance is a practical approach, but I am uncomfortable with the word "requirement".

I believe we can act to increase trust in law enforcement by funding and requiring body cameras, by regulating the use and reporting of deadly force, and by increasing funding for mental health and crisis services so that law enforcement can focus on criminality.
I believe educational institutions at all levels should shift emphasis to increase its capacity to produce workers (and teachers) who are highly competent in fields such as healthcare (in all capacities), engineering (in many disciplines), sciences and mathematics. I would shift some state education funding for this purpose.
